Anna Soba
Brighton-based Anna, originally from Poland, is an illustrator and ceramicist. After graduating from the Academy of Art, she paused her artistic pursuits, later returning through printmaking and illustration, ultimately finding her true passion in pottery.
Anna’s work brings together sculptural form, illustration, and storytelling, resulting in ceramic pet urns and cat memorials that are both playful and personal. While her early pieces were primarily black and white, she now embraces colour to express emotion and warmth. The black cat, full of character and sass, remains a central figure, capturing the spirit of our beloved pets and reflecting her aim to evoke simple joy through handmade remembrance pieces.
