Finding the right urn size for your pet can be a little confusing.

We’ve created a pet urn size guide to help offer a clearer idea of what you might need. Please note, all weights and volumes are provided as estimates and include a 20% buffer for additional space.

Friendly reminder! You don’t have to keep all of the ashes together. They can also be split amongst family and friends, or you may only wish to retain a smaller amount and spread the remaining ashes elsewhere, in which case smaller urns will still be suitable.

calculate a more specific volume

If you know your pet’s specific weight you can also use the following ratio for a more accurate volume estimate. Simply multiply the weight of your pet (in kilograms) by 36.44 to get the millilitre equivalent.

1kg = 36.44ml
100g = 3.64ml

As we have done in our size guide, we recommend adding an additional 20% to the calculated volume (multiply your answer by 1.2), to allow some extra space, and to account for the fact that other factors can influence the required volume.
