Artist: Alma Boyes

This small ceramic cremation urn is handcrafted using the traditional Agateware technique, in which coloured clays are blended to create natural marbled patterns within the porcelain body. Each urn is wheel-thrown and turned by Alma Boyes, who mixes her own oxides and stains to achieve distinctive tones and veining.

Fired to stoneware, the interior is glazed for protection while the exterior is polished smooth to a satin, tactile finish. Each piece is uniquely handmade, designed to hold, honour, and celebrate the individuality of the person remembered.
