This wooden cremation urn for ashes is hand-turned by Cahoots from the timber of the British Ash tree. Each vessel honours a species now growing rarer in the UK, becoming a handmade legacy both for the tree and the person it commemorates.
Rooted in the long tradition of cup-turning yet refined for modern sensibilities, its smooth, balanced form feels timeless. The growth rings of the Ash wood flow around the urn, charting the tree’s life from its earliest years at the base to its later ones at the rim, an understated record of endurance and remembrance.
